Steelwitch asked two questions for us to answer. Quoth he:
1. "want to know how often you practice magick... not just ritual, not just an esbat or sabbat, but a full on spell with a purpose. Yes, you. I'm talking to you."
2. "Your God and Goddess. Tell me which god you worship primarily, or which goddess, or both. Tell me about them. Make one up if you want. You need 400 words? Tell me a story about one of them. Myths are cool."
How often do I practice magick? Well, if you consider Crowley's definition of magick - Magick is the Science and Art of causing Change to occur in conformity with Will, then I do magick a little every day. Alright, maybe I'm misinterpreting it...but hell, if you read that the way it's written, even going to the potty is magick. (Sorry to any Crowley fans.) If you're talking about magick as in manipulating the energies of the multiverse to a specific task, then maybe once a week. Some of my spells are little, some not so little, but I do it.
I don't subscribe to the whole cast a circle, call the quarters, invoke god and goddess, dismiss quarters and take down circle bit. Not my bag, baybee.. I do shield and ground, sometimes in that order, but that's more in line of adjusting my personal energies. A lot of what I do is visualization oriented. No props. (That's only for those special rituals..wink, wink, nudge, nudge.) I believe in having the ability to do ritual in a dark and empty room.
My God and Goddess...well, that's a little different. I posted earlier this week, that for me, diety was an archetypical construct that our mind uses to perceive and interact with the divine. I believe there is something out there, much like the Force, you know the duct tape of the multiverse, it has a light side and a dark side and it binds the multiverse together. That. (Yep, I'm a geek. Live with it.)
The particular archetype my mind works with well is the Buddha, although I have been known to work with Kwan Yin from time to time. I have even worked with Kali, scary, but for a damn good reason. He reminds me to practice compassion and mercy. He reminds me that all beings are equal in their impermanence and state of existence. He reminds me to practice the middle path. He reminds me to sit and listen and not prejudge.

Props aren't necessary, but they are fun! They are little mental macros for working magick. Pick up an athame? My mind/body/aura say, "Sweet, it's CIRCLE TIME!" without any coercion required. (Sure, you don't use a circle, but you know what I mean.)
As far as deity as an archetypal construct goes... I believe that, too, but I try not to believe it too much. It makes it harder to believe in them as individuals when you want to work with them. One of these days I'll get around to being able to switch beliefs on and off when necessary, but that's gonna be a few months (or several years) yet.
